Litter Pick
At the start of this month, a few ladies from our WI gathered on the Green to start a litter pick around the village. It immediately started to rain! Undeterred, we carried on and collected a good amount of litter from the green, post office, rec and the gault.
There was a surprising lack of interest from the general public, but we did get some who stopped to talk to us and commend our efforts.
The areas we visited looked much improved.
Hopefully we will be running more activities like this to raise our profile and give back to our village. Needless to say, this job will need doing again!
